Profile.

As the β€œAbout.” section and pretty much the rest of the website dictates, my name is Daniel Vidal. I am an audio engineer and sound designer.

My main focus professionally has been in studio work - this being recording, editing mixing, and mastering sound. The bulk of my work has been focused on the mastering aspect. But as I’ve focused more on the sound design aspect of my career, I’ve been shifting more towards working in non-linear mediums - specifically video games. I have passion for all things gaming, and experimenting with immersive audio is something I really enjoy.

Most of my free time is spent jumping around learning the ins and outs of software to better prepare myself for any task, working on my modular synth (I am a huge synth enthusiast), or playing games.

I am currently a Sound Designer at Microsoft Turn 10 studios, as a member of the Media Team.
